 Most people buy the MBT shoe because of the great workout/toning it does for your legs, I on the other hand bought these because I had my ankle fused and do not have that rocker motion that is needed for the foot to walk properly. In these shoes they don't only give me the ability to walk almost normal, I also get the workout on my legs as well. I have refereed more people to try out the MBT just for the toning ability. The shoe is very comfortable after you get use to the balancing that is needed, but that is part of the toning. Many runners use the tennis shoes type MBT. So I would recommend this shoe to anyone, it is a great shoe.
