 "I liked the concept the moment I saw these on Vibram's website, but I had no idea what they would feel like when I actually wore them. Was I pleasantly surprised! The KSO are supremely comfortable. They don't feel like shoes at all and most of the time, one would feel like they are barefoot. I have tried them both with socks (Injinji) as well as barefoot and both times the experience has been the same...they are amazingly comfortable. At no point in time have I felt that my foot needed more protection or that my foot was in danger. And the way they wrap around my foot gives a very secure feeling. Barefoot and yet not! Only thing is...get used to people staring at your foot. And boy, do they stare! It's a completely different concept and it takes a while for people to get it. Get ready for a lot of double takes (and triple takes and quadruple takes) as people see these babies. They generate a lot of attention and are a great conversation starter :-) But above all, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life. My previous pair was the Nike Free 3.0 (which is a mightly comfortable shoe) and my current pair is the Nike Lunarglide (which is again a very comfy shoe and actually makes you feel like you're walking on a cushion all the time), but the Vibram FF have them both beat by a long shot. Light, comfortable and they breathe! Fantastic shoes and I'm glad I bought them. I recommend them to anyone who is OK with people staring at their feet."
