 I've had these for a day and felt compelled to see what other people thought to make sure mine wasn't an isolated experience. I can only speak for my feet, but believe me when i tell you these are by far THE BEST shoes i've even worn. I was shopping for a water/hiking shoe for a trip to hawaii coming up and i shopped around trying on solomon, nike, vibram, fila, etc.... all the major brands that put out this sort of shoe - i didn't like the merrell's look.. too much like a sneaker but seriously,,,, the difference between the fit and form between the merrell and all the other brands forced me back to the merrells. They are unbelievably comfortable, snug, yet free form. The traction is out of this world. I don't think i could slip if i tried. The space up front seemed like it was overkill but it really works out well since i'm very toe active in my stride and the space lets me splay naturally. I could be here all day talking these shoes up - bottom line - best shoes ever - go get a pair and try them out.
