I have been stalking these online for quite sometime now (years!!) and i finally purchased them and i could not be happier! i was hoping they would go on sale but they are always in style and that never seemed to happen. be that as it may, they fit true to frye sizing. i am usually an 8.5 in almost all other brands but i take a 8 in Frye and these were no exception for me. the heel is large at first but once they are broken in; specifically when the sole gives, which is unusually stiff at first; the heel no longer slips and they fit like a glove! the calf is average, not too skinny but also not too large, and i find that the pull on boot is more versatile than those with a zipper. i personally think they are worth every penny. some boots are awesome but trendy, which is ok. these, however, are a classic!! you will be able to wear them every single year! don't hesitate!
