I went with New Balance because I have wide feet, and they are one of the few shoe companies that specifically offers wide versions of their shoes. That being said, these are excellent every day shoes. I wear them to the gym, when going for a walk, going out to run errands, and going out at night. They are comfortable enough to wear as workout shoes, and good looking enough to wear them out at night (assuming you're not going to a dressy place!). Very comfortable shoes, and VERY versatile!
