"The 992 was a step down from the awesome 991, so I'm glad the 993 fixed the mushy squishy feeling I would get from the gel sole of the 992. This has all the cushioning without the mushiness. People who wore the 991 and were disappointed in the 992 will be very happy with these! Made in the USA! Support American labor! My ONLY complaint is that many of the new colors are ONLY available in certain colors. I wear 4E width shoes, and I really really wish New Balance made the all-black MR993LBK (with black soles) in my size 8.5 4E. Are you listening, New Balance?????? I need comfy black casual shoes to wear with my black outfits, and this would fit the bill if it came in my size. I hope the MR993LBK sells well so New Balance considers bringing it, or a 994 version out in extended width sizes. "
